Going on 8 months!

Wow, how time flies!!! Bryce is now 7 and a half months old (he'll be 8 months on Valentines day). It is amazing to see our little man growing and learning new things every day. I was just telling Kyle the other day that on Valentines Day last year we got to here Bryce's heart beat for the very first time (what a great present). Just when you think you can't love the little guy anymore, he does something that almost makes my heart want to explode! (gee he isn't loved too much is he?)
Bryce is doing very well. He is a super big eater. He loves anything and everything. He actually prefers veggies over fruits. He also loves cereals and of course milk. No allergies so far. I tried introducing meats the other day and that didn't go so well, he made an awful gagging sound and scrunched up his little face. We also introduced the cup yesterday, but again, I don't think he was ready for it yet. He just chewed on it and when he did take a sip, he sucked up too much and choked :-( My little peanut is growing up too fast, I miss the newborn phase so badly, yet his personality is forming and he can be a real goof ball and knows how to work an audience.
Bryce's hand/eye coordination is improving, he can hold two toys at a time and pass them from one hand to the other. He can hold his spoon and knows to put it to his mouth (although it makes a huge mess and he often gags). He also lifts his arms up if he wants held (so adorable). He loves to wiggle on the floor and he looks like a floppy seal when he's playing on his belly. He may start some physical therapy since he's not rolling over as often as he should at this age. He can do it, but only when he's in the right mood. I'm not sure if this is a developmental thing or he is just happy on his belly.
I am loving, loving, loving being home with Bryce!!! I thank God everyday for giving me this opportunity. As of now I am planing on returning to work in late Aug./Sept. but Kyle and I are beginning to discuss other options for the future like me teaching pre-school, or subbing part-time. It's so funny how children can totally change your plans (but I found that out when little Bryce decided to come 10 weeks early!)
