Busy Month!!!

June is a busy month in the Rankin House. Bryce turned 2 (I still can't believe it!) Where did my little baby go? We also of course had father's day and Kyle and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. I think Bryce is going through a big growth spurt. He's eating a ton and every time he wakes up he looks taller to me. He is really started to repeat more words. If you ask him how old he is he replies "two" and puts up his fingers. He also gets very excited when he shares and will say "I share" and clap (if only he would always share). He is really into labeling who owns what. Like mommy's phone, Bryce's blanket, Daddy's camera. Oh and the tantrums keep getting better and better :-( Mr. Bryce now knows how time out works. He definitely wants things his way and NOW!!

Landon is getting bigger and is just as content as can be. He was just in for his 4 month check up and weighs 15 lbs 13 oz!!!! and is now 25 and a half inches. He is around the 75% for both height and weight. I couldn't believe it when I saw the numbers, we are used to small babies. He even wears the same size diapers as Bryce at night (size 4). If he keeps this up Bryce and Landon will be in the same size clothes by next summer (he only weighs 9 lbs less than Bryce). He is babbling more and anything makes him smile and giggle. He is a super big eater and sleeper. I love 4 months! If only I could freeze this month. He is finally sleeping through the night (well sometimes). Like last night he was up at 2 but he usually sleeps until 5 or 6 and once he slept until 8 and I woke up in a panic! He and his brother are both usually in bed by 8 which mommy and daddy love! He is just so happy and when he is grouchy it means time for a nap or a snack. Oh thank goodness the grumpies are gone!

Kyle is doing amazing at balancing work and family. He is such a good daddy and loves his boys to pieces. He is starting to get things together for his big Engineering test in the Fall. If you have a chance say a little prayer for him (I know this test is a big stress!)

As for me, I have been babysitting cousin Hayden (19 months) and nephew Tristan (7 months) for over a month now and am loving it!!!! I love that my boys have friends to play and grow up with. It keeps me busy and that's how I like it!
