3 months old!!

Sorry this has taken so long to update, but we temporarily forgot the password but after much guessing we finally cracked the code, I promise to try and update weekly!!!!

Well our little man has been home now for 5 weeks and is doing terrific!!! The first week or two were a little rough on Kyle and I with having to deal with such a little baby and his needs but now the stinker is packing on the pounds and is sooooo perfect!!!

The first two weeks Bryce was gaining weight at a slow (but typical) pace for a breast fed baby. But then all of the sudden he took off and had a major growth spurt. His last check up was two weeks ago and he was up to 7 lbs. 3 oz. He gained a pound and a half in 10 days!!!! This was right around his due date so he was a perfect size for a new born baby. He goes to the doctors on Tuesday and if I were to guess I'd say he is at least 8 lbs!!! He is finally in his 0-3 month clothes. Some days I just can't stop staring at him in disbelief of how big he is getting. You would never know that he was 2 lbs 12 weeks ago. He loves to eat... eat... eat... and sleep... sleep... sleep... We really have been blessed because not only is he a miracle but he has so far been a pretty easy going baby.

The doctor gave us the ok last week to start taking him out and he does great!!! Just going to church with him last Sunday was the best experience of our lives!!! Finally Bryce is able to meet all the people in his life that love him so much!!! He also enjoys going for walks, visiting his grandparents who spoil him to peices, and watching the pennstate game with daddy.

It's funny when people ask me how old he is because he is really 3 months old but should be only 3 weeks. We had child dev. specialists check him out (4 weeks ago) and at that time he was functioning like a 1 month old baby. They saw no red flags and predict that Bryce will grow to be your average happy kid. (God is Amazing) He currently can lift his head up when on his belly(and is gaining a lot more control of it) he likes to push with his legs, can concentrate on objects and sounds, smiles in his sleep (starting to do it when awake) I even saw him laughing to himself today while sleeping it was so cute!!!!
